I don’t want to brag… BUT Pack 895 has some of the best Adult Volunteers I’ve ever worked with and I’ve worked with tons of people over the years. They and you are vital to a smooth running, fun having, safe and excellent Cub Scout Pack. While we have many volunteers with titles, we have just as many who work behind the scenes creating projects, setting up events or even just running a station during a Pack Meeting. I am a big fan of people loving what they do so we ask what you like and what things you enjoy doing. Your hobbies may be a HUGE help to the Pack! When we find what you like and spread out the work it keeps everyone sane. If each Adult did just two things (small or big) for the Pack each year – we would have EVERYTHING taken care of. Two things seem like a drop in the bucket, but it helps more than you know. Contact me today to see what two things you can take off someone else’s plate to keep our Pack running epic-ly. (see, even someone to tell me that isn’t a word would be a huge help!)
Keep Being Awesome! Jessica McCarty Pack 895, Committee Chair Greetings from your Cub Master! I read a quote from Charles Swindoll this week that I want to share with you about "...the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than...circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do...we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it." As we start off 2022 many of us will make new year's resolutions and set goals for what we want to accomplish this year. Let's make one of our goals for pack 895 to maintain a positive attitude as we work together to keep scouting a fun adventure for our families. Here's to a new year of scouting together!
