Selling Popcorn for the first time? Consider starting with our suggested "Starter Kit" of our "best sellers" to get you started. Please direct your questions to our Pack Fundraising Committee Chair &/or use the link below to reserve your popcorn.
NOTE: Limit of $300 of product at one time - Starter Kit equal $300. For those that are new to Pack 895 and/or Cub Scouts, our biggest fundraiser of the year is selling popcorn. Our council gives us the opportunity to sell through Trails End to help scouts pay their way through scouting. Scouts earn a 30% commission on popcorn sold which can be used to cover pack dues, campout fees and overnighters Participation is optional but encouraged to help scouts learn responsibility, managing finances, etc. Scouts can earn prizes for selling as well. You can participate in Popcorn sales in a variety of ways, all detailed below: 1. Online - Create an account at https://www.trails-end.com/registration. Share your selling link with family and friends and you’re all set. This option is available now through 12/31/22. 2. Take Order Sales - Scouts sell door to door or to family and friends with an order form. Customers write down their order and pay up front, then popcorn is ordered for them and delivered by the scout in late November. I will have more order forms at the September pack meeting or you can contact me to get one sooner if you like. 3. Wagon Sales - Scouts go door to door with popcorn products in hand to sell right then. A scout’s inventory must be requested beforehand (see Google doc link below) and families are responsible for the cost of any inventory not sold. We will be doing one more order of popcorn for wagon sales in September. If the Google Doc is not filled out we will not order inventory for you. Products ordered for wagon sales will be distributed at the September pack meeting. https://forms.gle/TcKoqWvVdSBCMCsy5 The deadline to request popcorn for wagon sales is Friday, September 9th at 12pm. Scouts can participate in any combination of the above methods of sales. A wagon sale becomes a take order sale when you run out of the specific product a customer wants. Take orders will only be accepted on a properly filled out form. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach out to me. We look forward to a successful 2022 popcorn sale! Stephanie Palazzo Pack 895 Fundraising Chair NOTE: 1) Blazin' Hot Popcorn only available for wagon sales. It is not available for take order. 2) Chocolate pretzels are only available as take order & is delivered in November. 3) Online ordering does offer some additional product options that wagon sales and take order do not, such as beef jerky and nuts, but you do have to pay shipping. |
